Hard to believe this time next week camp will be over. Second session is flying by. This coming week is jammed pack with events, but let’s stick with today….
Morning majors were followed by our 15 and under hockey guys going to Wigwam for street hockey. A lot different then playing on the ice. Wigwam scored two quick goals and we came right back to tie. The final score was 3 to 5. Our guys have a new appreciation for street hockey and would like a rematch having Wigwam on our ice to even the score.
The 13 and under soccer boys hosted Wigwam here. It was a tight match right to the end. We lost by one goal. Both teams showed good sportsmanship and fair play.
Tonight is movie night in the Humanities center.Younger campers will be seeing Kurt Russell in Miracle. A brash U.S. hockey coach unites a motley group of college athletes and turns them into a force to be reckoned with. Older boys will see The Dark Knight Rises.
